Standard Slow-Go Metal Speed Hump 1 & ½ metre modules plus End Caps to suit, can withstand 75 tonnes down force per square foot and are Suitable for vehicles and occasional truck traffic.
SLOW-GO Speed Control Systems can be installed on asphalt, concrete or any similar road surface. This system is ideal for effective control of traffic speed in and around multi deck, underground, and open style car parks as well as pedestrian crossings, blind corners, intersections, building entries and exits, in fact any visible danger spot. Complying to the Australian Standard AS2890.1-1993 Type 2 Road Hump, this system is appropriate for use in relatively confined areas where the desired traffic speed is to be kept below 30km/h. To achieve this it is recommended that SLOW-GO speed humps be placed no less than 10 metres apart and no more than 50 metres apart along any one aisle or roadway. The SLOW-GO Speed Control is extremely simple to install, bolting directly to the existing road surface avoiding any costly excavation or civil works. Our fully trained and experienced installation teams offer an unsurpassed level of service, with installation of an average 6 metre speed hump in around 25 minutes minimising traffic flow disruption. For your convenience PEC can coordinate on-site installation 7 days a week, 24 hours a day if necessary.
